Blog 8: English Language Challenges

Hi everyone ✌✌✌

This week I will tell you about the experience and challenge of learning English.

The online classes were very good. Each class contained current topics, be they political or social. This modality gives more enthusiasm to learn a new language.

On the other hand, I like the use of blogs, since one can practice writing and modify the way of thinking and writing in English. I think blogging should continue to be used as a learning tool.

I have to be honest ... I really don't like English as a language. I would like the university to give us the opportunity to choose which language to study. I don't like the idea that English is the universal language, leaving other languages relegated as a second or third category. Despite this, learning English at university has been a great challenge for me. I find it difficult to acquire vocabulary, manage verb tenses, pronunciation, etc. Despite all these drawbacks, I think I have made progress. Today I can speak with a certain "fluency" and I can understand more words. I do not deny that it is still very difficult for me to learn the language. I must improve my pronunciation, therefore I must listen to even more English videos or conversations of different situations speaking English. Currently I dare to read several texts in English and that has helped me to advance in the language. I still have a lot to learn but every day that passes I think if I can learn English

It was a pleasant experience.

Thank you ✌😏💚

  1. I agree with being able to choose which language to study. We can choose CFG or cultural courses of other languages buf fill up fast and the hours are not good.
